There are currently three main currencies, that being 
Gems Gems, 
Gold and 
Trophies. They are used to purchase a variety of things in the game.
Gems[]
Gems Gems are one of the most important currencies in Anime Adventures, as they are used to obtain powerful Units. They can be obtained by completing Quests, Story Mode missions, Doing Raids, waves in Infinite Modes, redeeming Codes, staying in the Time Machine, logging in daily, events, Completing Infinity Castle rooms and buying them with Robux.
Gold[]
Gold is the 2nd most important currency, as they allow the Player to purchase powerful items such as XP Food, Star Fruits and Summon Tickets. You can also use Gold to create Evolution Items and Relics. Gold can be earned through selling your Units, through events, and completing the Extra Gold Challenge. In Update 10.7.5, you can use gold to purchase more unit & skin slots at the Bartender NPC for 50,000 (50+ Storage)
There are also various limited time currencies that can only be obtained during certain time frames or events. There is currently two of these, The Stars and the Candies
Stars[]
Stars Stars are commonly used for Christmas events, as they allow players to obtain skins or items that upgrade towers into different versions. Stars can be obtained by completing Quests, waves in Infinite Modes, and redeeming Codes and events.
Candies[]
Candies Candies are an event currency introduced as part of update 5.0. They are currently used to purchase XP food, capsules for character skins, Dungeon keys, and Evolution Items. Jewels can be earned by completing missions from the Mission Board and by selling Infused Crystals to the Mysterious Mage by the Dungeon entrance.
Pearls[]
Pearls was commonly used for the Summer event, as they allowed players to buy the Summer Portals and buy Evolution Items for the Summer Units
Grief Seeds[]
Grief Seeds is a currency introduced as part of update 13.5, The Madoka Magica Update. It was used to purchase summons at the Limited Time Madoka Magica Banner and used for buying Evolution Items.
